How hiring works
Four steps. No surprises.
Delivery is manual — a Milliow engineer configures each worker for your stack. Here's what actually happens at each stage.
- 01
Meet
Talk to the worker. Ask it real questions about the job — it draws on a demo business for concrete examples, but it isn't limited to a script. Free, no signup.
- 02
Offer
Scope, salary, and start date are agreed in writing — including what's out of scope. Nothing is assumed; if it's not on the offer, it's not part of the job.
- 03
Onboarding
The worker learns your business, your tools, and your tone, and connects to your systems.
- 04
First day
A supervised period where you review every action before the worker takes on full duties.
Onboarding is where the exceptions live
Meeting a worker shows it handling a simple demo business. Real businesses are messier — the odd hours, the second location, the pricing rule that only applies on weekends. That's exactly what onboarding is for: your worker learns those exceptions before taking on full duties, so naming them up front is expected work, not a surprise.
How long does this take?
It depends on the worker and how your business is set up, so we don't publish a number here. Setup length is agreed on the hiring call, once we know what you actually need.
